The Cunard Development will create a high quality, architecturally significant, dynamic mixed-use project. The RFP invited proposals from parties potentially interested in entering into a long-term land lease with Waterfront Development to construct, own and operate the mixed-use project. This project is a 1.5-acre site located at the intersection of Lower Water Street and Morris Street. The initial construction estimate is $75 million.
The next step will be the negotiation of agreements. The objective is to complete this by April 15, 2013.
Once agreements are in place, Southwest Properties/Minett Real Estate Services will commence the development process, with a planned construction start date in April 2014. However construction has not yet started for this project.
