Mo’Plaza Moves Forward

PDC is working with community members to pilot a temporary pedestrian plaza in the right-hand turn lane at Morris St. & Queen St. this fall. On July 14th 2014 we held a public engagement session with local residents from the area, with several residents of Schmidtville joining us. This was the second forum for community consultation to be held regarding the Mo’Plaza project. From the discussion key desires within amenities, neighbourhood identity, programming and design elements were identified for the site. Please read our summary of the engagement session for a more detailed description of these elements.

Continue to work with the City to approve the final design
