It’s More Than Buses Session 2: Design the Network - Draft Concepts

At It's More Than Buses session 2 on July 19th, participants were asked to reflect on the guiding principles developed in Session 1, add their own knowledge and experience, then draw out the transit network they believed would work best for HRM. Working in groups of five to eight people, participants mapped out high frequency, moderate frequency, and low frequency routes. Focusing alternately on the peninsula and on links to outer centres, they indicated where major transit hubs should be located and where connections should be possible. The IMTB team will review all of the network designs and synthesise the ideas into a proposed network map in preparation for Session 3 on September 7th, 6-8pm, at the WTCC.
