Switch: Open Street Sundays Dartmouth, 2015
This year, Switch Dartmouth will be taking place on June 7th, from 12 PM – 4 PM. During this time, a 2 km portion of Portland Street and Prince Albert Road will be closed to car traffic. There will be tons of activities, performances, and local vendors along the route. Be sure to check out the Multifest Portland Street Party and the Dartmouth Makers Pop-Up Street Market!

What is Switch: Open Street Sundays?
Switch: Open Street Sundays was inspired by open street events that happen all over the world, beginning with Ciclovia in Colombia. Though the street is closed to vehicles during Switch, the event is not about limiting car traffic. Instead, Switch is about opening the street up to other kinds of users, including pedestrians, cyclists, rollers, strollers, dancers, athletes, yogis, and more! The aim is to change the way people think about streets and their use. In order to make the street an exciting place to be, Switch partners with community organizations, local businesses, and food vendors in order to activate the route.
